The Lodge is strategically located near several important attractions. The road up to the Volcano Poás passes through Poasito with many small farms and businesses offering a variety of choices to the visitor. The road to Alajuela, passes through some of the most important and spectacular coffee growing areas of Costa Rica, and display magnificent views of the Central Valley. Arenal Volcano is less than three hours away, making this a logical next step for the traveller heading north and many guests spend their first and/or their last night of their stay in Costa Rica with us. The International Airport is only 45 minutes from the Lodge.

Directions.
Drive from  Alajuela to Poasito, from there to Vara Blanca. After 5 kms, look to your left for a farm entrance with a large sign, Poas Volcano Lodge. Drive in past dairy for 700 Mts.
