Superior Lodge and Standard Garden

The twelve comfortable and elegant rooms each have their own character and individuality. They include six Superior, luxury, Rooms with King or Queen beds and elegant en suite bathrooms; three of which have balconies overlooking the sweeping views towards Poas Volcano. The other three Superior Rooms have private gardens and are just steps away from the cloud forest. The remaining five Standard Rooms are located a few steps from the Lodge in the outside Garden Rooms.

For a little more space and privacy you will enjoy the Field House. A stone’s throw away from the main Lodge itself and nestled within the exuberant gardens, you will enjoy this open plan villa, boasting an uninterrupted view of the majestic Poas Volcano National Park. Step inside and you will find a Superior Room with Volcano Views and King bed, two additional single beds within the open plan villa, an elegant sitting room with a wood burning stove for those cool evenings, kitchenette and a dining terrace. Perfect for either a romantic get-away or a more secluded family environment. The sunset seen from here is simply stunning. The choices are spoiling: you can either wake up to the dramatic views of Poas National Park and the silhouette of Poas volcano, or to your own garden with the cloud forest only steps away, or to rolling pastures and hummingbirds darting outside your window.

For those travelling with children or within a family or friends group, we are able to arrange for at least one extra bed to be made up in most of our rooms, and we also have travel cots available. For your convenience we provide coffee and tea making facilities in all the bedrooms, as well as a hair-dryer and electronic safe in each room. Locally sourced and made amenities are provided in all bathrooms.
